Scarsdale Police Department Relocation

Beginning in June of 2009, a major renovation project will begin on the Scarsdale Public Safety Building, that will last approximately 18 months.  Public access to the Police Department will take place at a temporary dispatch trailer located directly across the street from the existing building on the corner of Fenimore Road and Tompkins Road.  The Temporary Police Trailer will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All emergency services provided to the public will continue without interruption. The Temporary Police trailer will have all the functionality of the Communications Center located in Headquarters. The entrance to the trailer is located off Tompkins Road, where visitor parking is available. 

Individuals needing a copy of a Police Report must complete a "Public Safety Report Request Form". This form can be completed online at the link below, downloaded for mail in or picked up in person at the temporary Police trailer. 

Paper requests can either be faxed in, mailed to the Police Department, or drop it off at the temporary Police trailer.  Copies of reports will be sent to the requester within 3 business days by mail, fax or email, depending on the requesters preference. Copies of reports can also be picked up at the temporary trailer after being notified the report is ready.

Fees for copies of reports will be waived during this relocation period.
