Election Information

VILLAGE ELECTION - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2020

Please be advised that the Village Election otherwise scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2020 has been postponed by New York State Governor Cuomo's Executive Order 202.44 to Tuesday, September 15, 2020.  The Village Election will be held at the Scarsdale Congregational Church for all Election Districts from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

       IMPORTANT DATES FOR VOTERS &        ABSENTEE BALLOT INFORMATION

Friday, September 4:  Last day to register with Westchester County Board of Elections to be eligible to vote in the Village Election.

Tuesday, September 8:  Last day for the Village Clerk to receive applications for absentee ballots to be mailed to qualified voters. NOTE: Absentee ballots already delivered for the postponed March 18 Village Election do not need to be replaced -- they are being held in a secure location and will be counted.

Wednesday, September 9:  Last day for the Village Clerk to mail absentee ballots to qualified voters.

Monday, September 14:  Last day for the Village Clerk to receive personal applications for an absentee ballot from applicant or applicant's agent. NOTE: Absentee ballots already delivered for the postponed March 18 Village Election do not need to be replaced -- they are being held in a secure location and will be counted.

Tuesday, September 15: Date of Village Election - Last day for the Village Clerk to receive absentee ballots in person or by mail. 

Note:  You must be a registered voter at your current address in the Village of Scarsdale to vote in the Village Election. If you have any questions about your voter registration status, please call the Westchester County Board of Elections at (914) 995-5700.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  ALL ABSENTEE BALLOTS PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED BY VOTERS FOR THE MARCH 18, 2020 ELECTION ARE STILL VALID FOR THE VILLAGE ELECTION POSTPONED TO SEPTEMBER 15, 2020.

General Election: November 03, 2020

A General Election Absentee Ballot Application may be submitted online or completed and mailed to the Westchester County Board of Elections (not Village Hall).
